The Greater Syracuse Chapter of the National Organization for Women is an active, entirely volunteer based, non-profit group dedicated to helping women live better lives. Greater Syracuse NOW works in support of women's health care issues, equality in the workplace, and fair treatment regardless of race or sexual orientation.
Our intention is to make a difference in the lives of the women in the greater Syracuse area by dedicating ourselves to several key projects each year. We use political activism to influence change.
As a volunteer organization, we depend upon membership dues to finance our activities. Meetings are held once a month and locations vary between members homes and public locations such as restaurants.
To take out membership, please send $40.00 check or money order for annual dues which gives you membership in National, State and Greater Syracuse NOW (chapter 0200) to Treasurer M. Loew, 6057 E.
